In Downtown Fort Wayne, the Riverfront Project is reshaping the North side of the St. Marys River. The demolition of the old Pepsi distribution site in February marked the beginning of an ambitious plan to establish a vibrant mixed-use hub, enhancing neighborhood compatibility.

Phase II promises an expansive public space stretching from Promenade Park that includes amenities like an extended tree canopy trail, boat docks, an accessible boulder mound, a hammock grove, walking trails, and an amphitheater. Meanwhile, the adaptive reuse of the Schaab Metal building and More Brewing Company's investment in a riverside eatery spotlight the area's economic potential.

With Phase II's introduction of leisure and community spaces, Fort Wayne's downtown riverfront is poised for a renaissance that mirrors the success of the project's southern development. This transformation opens the door to a future where nature, business, and community may flourish throughout Northeast Indiana.
