From a young age, Courtney and her father bonded over a shared enthusiasm for building homes, as well as a mutual respect and appreciation for community and local identity. Jeff Godfrey, of Carriage Place Homes, was the ultimate role model for real estate success—sparking in Courtney a strong desire to help people find the home of their dreams. This love for people inspired her to study Communication and Culture at Indiana University in order to better connect and understand society, from the general public to individual neighborhoods. After graduating in 2012, she returned home to Fort Wayne and immediately felt drawn to real estate. A natural in the business, Courtney quickly mastered the basics and has been thriving ever since.
